Notes for Mary Heesom
Originally sourced from a public member tree on Ancestry, which has Mary Heesom having children with Peter Clare. She was not with the rest of the Hissom [sic] family in the 1841 census for Keckwick. The 1851 census for Hatton, Cheshire is important for connecting Mary with the Heesom family. On 30 Mar 1851, Mary (24 years old, born Keckwick) was living in Eccles Cottage, Hatton with her husband Peter Clare (Head, 27, a Farm Labourer born in Warrington), their children William (3, born Keckwick) and Mary (1, born Appleton) and most importantly Peter Clare's brother-in-law (and presumably Mary's brother) William Heesom (erroneously indexed under Hersom on Ancestry), an 18 year old Farm Labourer born in Keckwick. This same WIlliam can be found with his parents and siblings in the township of Keckwick in the 1841 census return for Grappenhall, Runcorn.
