John Graves (29) was baptized 24 March 1740 in Thrussington, Leicestershire. He first married Elizabeth (or Elisabeth?) Sherwin on 3 Jan. 1769 in Mountsorrel, Leics. She died (or was buried?) 4 Feb. 1797. He secondly married Elizabeth Jarratt, daughter of Thomas Jarratt and Ann ------, on 5 Oct. 17954. (Did this second marriage occur before the death of the first wife, possibly indicating a divorce, or is one of the dates wrong?) All the children were born at Mountsorrel. (R-1, R-3)
