Notes for David Plews
The name and surname of his father were not supplied on his birth certificate. Birth was registered 4 July 1839, registration district Leyburn, Richard Pattinson, Registrar. Jane Plews, mother, of Castle Bolton, was the informant.

My only sources for the dates of his christening and death are (1) the GenesReunited tree of James Mounsey, and (2) the public member tree "Wilson/Horton family tree" on Ancestry. [SP 18 Jun 2009].
