Hi guys. I thought I would send the info. I have. John Edward Godfrey born Nov. 21st. 1890 Father John Godfrey Mother Mary Ellen Godfrey (formerly Kennedy) Birthplace 3 Mercers Cottages, Ditton. Elsie Godfrey. Born Feb. 7th 1897 Father Niel McArthur (cotton porter) Mother Jane McArthur (formerly Shaw) Birthplace 40 Hogarth Rd. Married Richard Williams May 15th 1917 (locomotive cleaner) He was 23 she was 20. He lived on Beaconsfield Rd, she lived at 8 Florence Rd. Niel McArthur (mother's father) Died 29th September 1900 age 29. Cause of death Peritonitis by perforation of stomach, cause not shown (Ulcer?) 294 Hawthorne Rd. Bootle. As far as I know, there were 2 daughters, Elsie and Janet (Harper by marriage) Then grandma married John (?) Roberts, and had 2 sons, Ernest and George and one daughter Lena (Stroud by marriage) I think one of Aunt Lena's 3 sons (Charlie) married a neighbour of yours? There were Billy, Charlie and George. George died of the flu at age 24. Charlie had a heart attack at age 49/50? Jean can fill in the info. on the family, I think. This will get your nephew a head start! Take care of each other.
